Felipe dos Santos UFC Debut Set vs Manel Kape at UFC 293 Event
Felipe dos Santos is set to make his UFC debut against Manel Kape at UFC 293 event.
Kai Kara-France was earlier set to fight Manel Kape at UFC 293 event in a flyweight bout. However, Kai Kara-France declared on his Instagram that he won’t be going up against Kape because he is dealing with a concussion.
As a result of France’s withdrawal from the fight, MMA Fighting reported that Felipe dos Santos will replace France to face Kape in the flyweight bout at UFC 293 event.

Felipe dos Santos’s most recent match was called off at the UFC Dana White Contender Series 2023 event against Luciano Pereira, as Pereira withdrew due to medical issues. Santos’ recent win came at LFA 146 event, where he defeated Hugo Paiva by a Unanimous decision.
Kape is presently on a three-fight winning streak. His most recent victory occurred at UFC Fight Night 216, where he faced David Dvoák and secured a unanimous decision win.
UFC 293 event is scheduled for September 9, 2023, in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, featuring a World middleweight title bout between Israel Adesanya and Sean Strickland.
