Deontay Wilder’s Trainer Believes Tyson Fury Should Vacant World Titles
Deontay Wilder’s trainer Malik Scott is of opinion that Tyson Fury should be stripped of his infamous green and golden WBC World Heavyweight Titles.
Malik Scott had a chat with ES News where he stated that Tyson Fury should relinquish his title and Deontay Wilder vs Andy Ruiz Jr should be for the vacant championship.
Scott also pointed out that Tyson Fury might have an exhibition bout next against the former UFC Heavyweight Champion Francis Ngannou. He also wondered why Fury was permitted to have a voluntary defense against Derek Chisora last year.
Wilder’s trainer Malik Scott thinks all the sh** Tyson is doing actually holds the heavyweight division around, and now the other fighters have to wait for another year.
He also discussed the fact that WBC ordered Wilder vs Andy Ruiz Jr with the winner getting a title shot against Fury. However, Malik Scott thinks that fight won’t happen even if Wilder wins against Ruiz Jr. Deontay Wilder also sent a fight offer to Andy Ruiz Jr, and now waiting for the latter to accept.
Scott confirmed that Deontay Wilder will fight Anthony Joshua in Saudi Arabia after he is done with Andy Ruiz Jr. Joshua vs Wilder has already been virtually agreed upon after Joshua faces Dillian Whyte.
