Eddie Hearn provides a much-anticipated update on Anthony Joshua vs Deontay Wilder.
He also added that they have virtually agreed on a deal, and now they will have another meeting to have a final few discussions.
Eddie assured that they are in a good place and the deal will take place. The date for this bout is not announced, but the event will likely take place in December or January in Saudi Arabia. A few weeks ago, Deontay Wilder also stated that Joshua bout will happen in December.
The event also has a bout for the undisputed heavyweight championship in discussion between Oleksandr Uysk and Tyson Fury. However, Hearn has revealed that Usyk might face Filip Hrgovic now as Fury seems to going in a different direction.
Before Wilder squares off against Joshua, he is planning to face Andy Ruiz Jr. He already sent a fight offer to him. On the other hand, Anthony Joshua will fight Dillian Whyte on August 12.
Both these guys will get a chance to accelerate their momentum before they face each other in one of the biggest bouts of their careers in Saudi Arabia.
