Joshua Buatsi and Dan Azeez have agreed to fight for the British Light Heavyweight Title. 

Boxxer’s Ben Shalom recently had an interview with Boxing News where he revealed that Dan Azeez would defend his British Light Heavyweight Title against Joshua Buatsi. 

However, the promoter hasn’t revealed the date and venue for this bout. It will likely be announced once the contract is signed officially. 

Dan Azeez has been having an undefeated run so far. He is coming off a win against Thomas Faure on the undercard of Carlos Takam vs Tony Yoka event. Azeez also added the European Light Heavyweight Championship to his title collection in that bout. Before that, he defeated Rocky Fielding to win the vacant Commonwealth Light Heavyweight Title. 

On the other hand, Joshua Buatsi is also undefeated so far. He is coming off a unanimous decision win against Pawel Stapien. Prior to that, he held victories against Craig Richards and Ričards Bolotņiks. 

Azeez vs Buatsi is certainly an exciting matchup, and now it remains to be seen when and where this fight will take place. Stay tuned for more updates on this bout.
