Sasha vs Carmella Rematch on Royal Rumble 2021

SmackDown Woman’s Championship match has been announced for the Royal Rumble 2021 this Sunday.

It was announced that SmackDown Women’s Champion Sasha Banks will put her title on the line against Carmella at WWE Royal Rumble 2021. The match was confirmed on tonight’s SmackDown which saw Sasha refusing to take the wine that Carmella sent via Reginald and instead threatened him.

Since Carmella made her return to WWE, she has been in feuding with Sasha Banks. Earlier, she defeated Banks by DQ on the December 11 episode of WWE RAW. That win gave her a SmackDown Woman’s title match against Banks at the TLC PVV, but The Boss retained by submission.

Carmella once again pinned Sasha in a tag team match which put her in line for another title shot. Sasha agreed to give Carmella a title rematch if she gets to face her sommelier Reginald first in a singles match. Sasha vs Reginald went ahead last week at SmackDown where The Mandalorian’s star won by submission.

The 2021 Royal Rumble PPV will take place this Sunday, January 31 from Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, FL.
