AEW Dynamite February 8: Bryan v Rush, Tag Title & Gauntlet Match Set
Five matches are announced for AEW Dynamite episode of February 8, 2023, which includes AEW Tag Team Championship match and a Gauntlet match Ricky Stark.
Brayn Danielson will face Rush as his final hurdle to become the #1 contender for AEW World Championship. Danielson has defeated Tony Nese, Konsuke Takeshita, Bandido, Brian Cage and Timothy Thatcher since the start of this year in singles matches.
As per the condition posted by Tony Khan, if Bryan beats Rush next week, he will get a World Title match against MJF. This match will be a one-hour long iron man match at AEW Revolution as per the agreement with MJF. MJF has given Rush a briefcase full of cash to beat Bryan next week and promised him 5 times more money if he succeeds.
MJF himself will take on Konosuke Takeshita next week. Takeshita saved Bryan from a post-match attack from MJF last week while also stopping MJF from interferring in Bryan’s match against Thatcher this week.
The Acclaimed will defend AEW World Tag Team Championship against the Gunn Club. The Gunn Club interrupted the Acclaimed once again this week on Dynamite after they defeated a local team from Ohio. When Billy Gunn walked out on both teams, The Gunn Club accused Billy of running away once again. An enraged Billy Gunn then gave The Gunn Club their title shot on February 8 episode of Dynamite.
Daniel Garcia and Sammy Guevara have presented Ricky Starks with their conditions to get a rematch against Chris Jericho. Starks has to run through what they are calling a Garcia-Guevara Gaunlet next week. Starks will first face Angelo Parker, followed by Matt Menard, and finally any one of Garcia or Guevara and defeat each one of them to win the match.
Lastly, an AEW Women’s Title Eliminator match is also set between Jamie Hayter and The Bunny.
February 8 episode of AEW Dynamite will air from El Paso County Coliseum in El Paso, TX. The complete line-up for the show is as below:
