BT Sports to Broadcast WWE Clash at the Castle in the UK

WWE is set to return to the UK for a premium live event after a long hiatus of 30 years with a PPV event titled “Clash at the Castle.”

Now, to make things even more interesting, BT Sports has announced that WWE Clash at the Castle will be available to watch on TV in the UK. 

WWE is dropping the PPV/WWE Network model for this live event. BT Sport also posted a tweet to confirm this news. 

BT Sport is the home to WWE’s all weekly content in the UK including RAW, SmackDown, and NXT. Now, the same network will broadcast WWE’s first PPV event in the UK after thirty years. 

WWE Clash at the Castle is set for September 3, 2022, and will take place at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales. Scotland’s Drew McIntyre will collide against Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal championships in the main event. 

Besides this, UK’s Gunther will defend the IC title against Sheamus. Moreover, Liv Morgan will defend the SD women’s title against Shayna Baszler, Seth Rollins will finally take on Riddle, and Damage Ctrl will fight Asuka, Alexa Bliss, and Bianca Belair in a six-woman tag-team match.
