Belair to Choose WrestleMania Opponent, Matches Set for SmackDown
WWE has announced that Bianca Beliar will choose her WrestleMania 37 opponent between RAW, SmackDown and NXT Women’s champion at tonight’s SmackDown episode.
Bianca won the 2021 women’s Royal Rumble match which gives her the right to challenge any World Champion from the three brands. She has been shown contemplating over her choices in recent weeks.
WWE has now confirmed that she will announce her decision at tonight’s SmackDown(26 February 2021) episode.
It is expected that Bianca will face WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Sasha Banks at WrestleMania 37. She has recently teamed up with Sasha in tag team matches. Sasha and Belair lost the WWE Women’s Tag Team title match against Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler at Elimination Chamber 2021.
Two more matches are announced for SmackDown tonight. The Street Profits – Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins – will face Sami Zayn and King Corbin. The Street Profits have been asking for a title rematch agaisnt Dirty Dawgs to whom they dropped the titles.
Second match that is announced is a rematch from last week between The Alpha Academy(Otis & Chad Gable) vs the Mysterios(Rey Mysterio & Dominik Mysterio). Otis & Gable turned heel on the Mysterios last week with a post-match attack.
