Bianca Belair wins Royal Rumble 2021

Belair entered at number 3 position with her most recent rival Bayley already in the ring with Naomi. The ring started to fill up as the match went on. The match saw many of the recent rivalries continuing which made for a interesting viewing.

Billie Kay kept searching for a new wrestler to manage/partner. She found a short term in a returning Jillian Hall(Billie and Jillie). Lacey Evans entered wearing Ric Flair’s robe to taunt Charlotte Flair. Lana returned and eliminated Nia Jax. Jax and Baszler continued tp torment the women’s division.

The match also saw the return of many former stars such as Victoria, Alicia Fox, Jillian Hall, Mickie James, Torie Wilson and NXT callups like Rhea Ripley, Toni Storm, Shotzi Blackheart(who entered in a mini tank), Santana Garrett, Dakota Kai and Ember Moon.

As we reached the end of the match, Charlotte, Belair and Rhea Ripley were the last three remaining in the match. Ripley went to eliminate Flair but it was not until Beliar helped her that Flair was eliminated.

Ripley and Belair went back and forth for the next couple of minutes and countered each other many times. In the end, it was Beliar who ducked a clothesline and hit a lariat on Ripley to eliminate her.

Belair lasted for 56 minutes and 52 seconds in the match, a new record for women’s Royal Rumble match. Although she bagged only 4 eliminations by herself, but all her eliminations were of major stars in the match- Bayley, Shayna Baszler, Charlotte Flair and Rhea Ripley.

Bianca Belair will likely challenge WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Sasha Banks at WrestleMania 37. However, she also has the chance to challenge for RAW Women’s Champion also.
