UFC Vegas 69: Alexander Hernandez to Replace Benitez Against Jim Miller
According to the latest reports, Alexander Hernandez will replace Gabriel Benitez in a lightweight bout against Jim Miller at UFC Vegas 69 on February 18.
Initially, a bout between Gabriel Benitez and Jim Miller was announced but Benitez withdrew from this match due to an undisclosed reason. Hernandez agreed to replace him on short notice, and now he will enter the octagon on February 18.
Alex Behunin of MMA Mania was the first one to break this news which was later reported by Marcel Dorff of EuroSports as well.
Alexander Hernandez is on a two-fight losing streak. He is coming off a second-round TKO loss against Billy Quarantillo at UFC 282. He also lost his penultimate match in the second round via submission against Renato Moicano.
On the other hand, Jim Miller is in the red hot form and is maintaining a three-fight winning streak. He is coming off a second-round submission win against Donald Cerrone at UFC 276.
UFC Vegas 69 will take place on February 18 and will be headlined by Taila Santos vs Erin Blanchfield women’s flyweight bout.
