According to the latest reports, Tainara Lisboa is all set to make her UFC debut against Jessica-Rose Clark at the UFC Fight Night event on May 13.
Iridium Sports Agency who manages Jessica revealed this news by sharing a tweet. The matchup was later confirmed by multiple other sources as well.
Jessica-Rose Clark is quite an experienced fighter and already had four victories in the UFC. However, the past few fights didn’t go well for her, and she created a two-fight losing streak. She is coming off a first-round submission loss against Julija Stoliarenko. Her last UFC win came against Joselyn Edwards back in October 2021.
On the other hand, Tainara Lisboa had her last MMA match at Iron Man MMA where she defeated Conceicao Barros Oliveira via first-round submission. Before that, she beat Leticia Hile via first-round TKO at Woman’s Fight – 1.
It won’t be easy for Lisboa to take on an experienced fighter Jessica Rose-Clark in her inaugural UFC fight. Lisboa will try and make a good impression by winning her debut bout whereas Jessica will be determined to get back on the winning track as she is looking to get her fifth UFC win.
