UFC Vegas 68: Laura Sanko to be First Female Commentator of the Modern UFC Era
Laura Sanko is all set to rewrite history as she will become the first female color commentator of the modern UFC era at UFC Vegas 68 on February 4, 2023.
UFC itself announced that Laura Sanko would serve as a cageside commentator and will make her commentary debut at the UFC Fight Night event on Feb 4.
Laura Sanko is quite happy about this and stated that it was her goal to join the commentary team ever since she became a part of the UFC broadcast team. She also added that it is an honor to walk in the footsteps of Kathy Long. She is the very first female color commentator of UFC who appeared at UFC 1.
Now, Laura Sanko becomes the second female color commentator of UFC after Laura Sanka called the very first PPV event of UFC 30 years ago in 1993.
UFC President Dana White himself praised Laura Sanko and stated that he couldn’t think of anyone better than Laura Sanko to join the commentary team of UFC. He added that Laura has worked incredibly hard to prove herself and to get to this position.
Now, fans will see calling her very UFC event which will be headlined by Derrick Lewis vs Sergey Spivak on February 4, 2023.
