The Hardy Boyz become 8-times Tag Team Champions
The Hardy Boyz have defeated the Usos for the SmackDown Tag Team championship at SmackDown this week. With this win, the Hardy Boyz have now become the 8-times tag team champions in WWE.
After the Usos successfully defended their title at WrestleMania in a Fatal 4-Way match, they were put against the Hardy Boyz. The Usos cut a promo backstage saying that they want to prove that they are the best brothers in WWE by defeating the Hardy Brothers.
The match was like any regular SmackDown tag team match with a few good spots. Matt Hardy hit a Twist of Fate after a missed double splash from The Uso brothers and Jeff hit the Swanton Bomb to get the win.
The Hardy Boyz could not savor the moment for much longer though as Lars Sullivan came out and attacked them. After taking both the brothers down, he hit a flying headbutt on Matt. This was the second night in a row when he attacked someone after Kurt Angle last night.
