Tetsuya Naita Revealed as Sting & Darby’s Partner at Forbidden Door
Tetsuya Naito will be Sting and Darby Allin’s partner to face Chris Jericho, Minoru Suzuki, and Sammy Guevara at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 2023 PPV event.
During the 21 June episode of AEW Dynamite, Chris Jericho, Minoru Suzuki, and Sammy Guevara faced Action Andretti, Dante Martin, and AR Fox in a six-man tag team which resulted in Jericho faction getting the win.
After the match, Jericho challenged Sting and Allin to find a partner for a match at the Forbidden Door event. Sting and Allin made their entrance to accept the challenge and said their partner would reveal at this week’s AEW Collision episode.

On June 24 episode of AEW Collision, Sting and Allin kick off the episode by confronting Chris Jericho and Minoru Suzuki. Tetsuya Naito made his entrance to reveal himself as the third member for the match.
Naito leads Los Ingobernables De Japon faction in NJPW and is a former IWGP World Heavyweight and IWGP Intercontinental Champion. He is also an arch-rival for Minoru Suzuki in NJPW.
Chris Jericho and Tetsuya Naito also fought each other earlier in NJPW. They feuded over IWGP Intercontinental Championship in 2018-19. Jericho won the title from Naito at NJPW Dominion 6.9(2018). The feud continued and ultimately, Naito won the title back at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 13 in January 2019.
