Rhea Ripley has defeated Asuka to win WarGames Woman Advantage match for Team Damage CTRL.

Along with Rhea Ripley and Nikki Cross, Damage CTRL will face Team Bianca Belair which has WWE RAW Women’s Champion Bianca Belair, Asuka, Alexa Bliss and Mia Yim in a WarGames match at Survivor Series 2022. The fifth member will be revealed on Friday.

Rhea, from Judgment Day, got involved in a brawl between Judgment Day and The OC and left Mia Yim incapacitated. After this, Bianca Belair and her team cut a promo and said that her rivalry with Damage CTRL will end in the WarGames match. Belair additionally announced that she will reveal the fifth member of her team on SmackDown this Friday.

Rhea and Asuka involved in a war of words before their match on RAW. Rhea dominated major stretches of the match with her power but Asuka kept coming into the match with her guile and experience. At the end, both women ducked each others’ swing before Rhea hit Riptide to get the pinfall.

By earning the woman advantage, Rhea has made sure that her team will never be outnumbered during the match. WarGames matches starts with one wrestler from each side but one member from team having man/woman advantage enter the match after five minutes. Then, every two minutes one member from the opposite team enters the match before a member from the first team enters again after two minutes. The alternating sequence continues until all the members are in the ring.

By winning this match, Rhea Ripley had ensured that it will be Team Damage CTRL who will have an extra wrestler in the ring for brief periods of times.

The advantage match for men’s WarGames match this year will take place at SmackDown where Sheamus and Drew McIntyre will face off against The Usos.
