Jericho vs Ishii & More Set for AEW Dynamite November 23 Line-up
4 matches for AEW Dynamite November 23, 2022 episode are confirmed with two titles matches, world title eliminator tournament final and the Trios Best of Seven series match.
Chris Jericho managed to defeat Bryan Danielson, Claudio Castagnoli, and Sammy Guevara in a four-way match at Full Gear to retain ROH World Championship.
But, his celebration was cut short when Orange Cassidy told him that another former ROH World TV Champion Tomohiro Ishii wanted a crack at the title. Jericho accepted the challenge saying he remembers when Ishii was an up-and-coming wrestler in Japan and used to carry his thing. Jericho claimed that Jericho will treat him as such on Dynamite.
Jake Hager, who was with Jericho during this segment, challenged Orange Cassidy for his AEW All-Atlantic Championship. Cassidy once again promptly accepted the challenge.
The final of World Title Eliminator Tournament will also take place at Dynamite. Ethan Page defeated Eddie Kingston and Bandido in the last two episodes of Dynamite to book his place in the final.
The final was initially planned for Full Gear but was moved to Dynamite due to Lance Archer’s attack on Ricky Stark on 9 November episode of Dynamite. Later, Ricky Starks first overcame challenge from Lance Archer at Rampage on Friday before beating Brian Cage at Zero Hour pre-show at Full Gear to reach the finals
The Elites’ Kenny Omega & The Young Bucks returned to AEW on Full Gear but failed to win the Trios Championship from Death Triangle. They are now set to face Death Triangle in a Best of 7 series. The second match of this series will take place on Dynamite episode of November 23.
