AEW Full Gear 2022: Jericho vs Danielson vs Claudio vs Guevara Result
Chris Jericho had been on a mission to prove he is better than all the previous ROH champions ever since he defeated Castagnoli for the ROH World Championship. He went on to defeat several ROH Champions like Bandido, Dalton Castle and Colt Cabana while also attacking former ROH staffers and commentators.
Claudio Castagnoli didn’t like this and asked for the rematch he never got after losing the title. Bryan Danielson also added himself into the mix saying that he wants to beat Jericho for the prestige of ROH. Later, William Regal told Jericho to decide who he would want to face. The JAS leader stated that he would face both of them and also added Sammy Guevara into the match to even the odds and make it a fatal-4-way match.

First, the Blackpool Combat Club members Claudio Castagnoli and Bryan Danielson made their entrance. It was followed by the JAS’ Sammy Guevara’s entrance, and then the champion Chris Jericho made his way to the ring.
As soon as the bell rings, Claudio attacks Jericho whereas Danielson targets Guevara. Jericho & Castagnoli takes the outside of the ring whereas Danielson and Guevara were inside doing back and forth.
Soon, Danielson sends Sammy outside and hits him with the suicide dive. However, he was attacked by Jericho who also sends him into the steel steps. Jericho and Danielson go inside the ring and attacked the champion using uppercuts. They did the same with Guevara as well.
After dealing with the JAS, Castagnoli and Danielson shake hands before fighting each other. Danielson puts Castagnoli in an armbar, but the latter breaks it with his raw power. They were doing some back-and-forth pins when Jericho break the sequence with a kick.
However, he finds himself in trouble again but was saved by Guevara who hit BCC members with a double cutter. JAS took the control of the match and began a two-on-one offense on Danielson.
Jericho hits Danielson with the Deathvalley driver and got the two count. JAS continued the offense on Danielson, but the latter managed to find a way out. He was fighting back when Sammy stopped him with a Spanish flyover. Jericho hit the lion moonsault to both men.
Castagnoli entered the ring and started fighting Jericho. Soon, the latter hit him with the Code Breaker but the Sammy broke the pin. The members of the JAS are not on the same side anymore as Guevara and Jericho started fighting as well.
Guevara even hit Jericho with a Code Breaker, but Jericho countered when he tried to put him in the walls and used his finisher on Guevara. Danielson tried to break it, but he was caught by Jericho and was put into the walls.
Castagnoli finally made the save and put Jericho in the sharpshooter, and at the same time, Danielson locked him in the crossface. Sammy made the save for Jericho. Guevara and Jericho hugged each other before Sammy attacked the champion. He hit Jericho with the shooting star to get a nearfall.
Danielson and Castagnoli caught Sammy and then Castagnoli send him out of the ring. Right after it, Danielson hit Castagnoli with the running knee to get a nearfall. Both these technicians got involved in back-and-forth action before both of them were on the top rope and were cleared by Guevara. However, Danielson locked crossface, but Jericho break the submission.
After some action, Castagnoli hits Danielson with the neutralizer outside the ring. Guevara caught him with the shooting star press. The action continues inside the ring as Claudio puts Guevara in the giant swing. Chris Jericho entered the ring and hits Claudio with the Judas Effect. He used the same move again on Claudio to get the pinfall.
Chris Jericho retained the ROH World Championship against Bryan Danielson, Claudio Castagnoli, and Sammy Guevara.
