Karrion Kross Defeated Drew McIntyre at Extreme Rules 2022
Karrion Kross managed to defeat the former world champion Drew McIntyre with a little assistance from Scarlett Bordeaux at WWE Extreme Rules 2022.
Karrion Kross started his mind games from the very beginning as he refused to put on the strap. Scarlett pulled the strap and distracted Drew giving Kross enough time for launching an attack.
Drew and Kross fought throughout the crowd even before the fight officially started. The bell was rung when Drew put on the strap on Kross’ wrist.
Both of these fighters went extreme with this strap and attacked each other brutally. However, in the ending moments when Drew was about to hit the claymore kick, he was stopped by Scarlett and used Pepper Spray on Drew’s eyes.
It blinded Drew McIntyre, Kross took advantage of this situation and hit him with the Kross Hammer to get the pinfall.
Earlier this year in August Karrion Kross returned to WWE, and immediately attacked Drew McIntyre. Kross continued to target McIntyre, but he managed to retreat every time before Drew responded.
However, on the September 23 episode of SmackDown, McIntyre announced that WWE officials have granted him a match against Kross, and it would be a Strap match, so he won’t run away this time.
