Becky Lynch was able to win the first-ever Women’s Main event match in the history of WrestleMania against Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair and became the first-ever women’s double champion at WrestleMania 35.

This match was in the making since Survivor Series when Becky was supposed to face Ronda but due to a concussion, she was replaced by Charlotte Flair in the match. Since then, Becky lost her SD Women’s title due to Ronda’s interruption and then won the women’s Royal Rumble match.

Becky was then suspended from WWE by Vince McMahon and was replaced by Charlotte in the WrestleMania match against Ronda. Becky was reinstated to the match only after she won the match against Charlotte at Fastlane with a disqualification with an attack from Ronda.

The match was changed to the ‘Winner Takes All’ match with the winner getting both RAW and SmackDown Women’s Championship title after Charlotte won the SmackDown title from Asuka two weeks ago. All three women had some good spots throughout the match which did not let the dullness set in during the match at all.

During the end, as Ronda went for Piper’s pit, Becky transitioned it into the crucifix pin and although in replays it looked like Ronda’s right shoulder was up, the referee counted to three to give the win to Becky.

It will be interesting to see to the botched finish plays up in the storyline going forward. Keep tuned in for more news and updates.
