First AEW All Atlantic Champion To Be Crowned at Forbidden Door PPV
AEW has introduced a brand new All Atlantic Championship during this week’s Dynamite episode.
The promotion revealed another secondary title, which is equivalent to WWE’s United States title or Intercontinental title or IWGP US Heavyweight title.
It was also revealed that the first All Atlantic Champion will be crowned at AEW*NJPW Forbidden Door 2022 PPV. A fatal 4-way match will determine the champion. 3 wrestlers from AEW and 1 from NJPW will take part in that match.
House of Black and Death Triangle continued their rivalry in the first qualifier for the fatal 4-way match as PAC defeated Buddy Mathews after a back and forth match. Ethan Page will face Miro in the second qualifier next week at Road Rager. Malakai Black will face Penta Oscuro in the other AEW qualifier. NJPW Qualifier details are not available as of now.
This is the third singles title to be introduced in AEW after AEW World Championship and AEW TNT Championship. AEW also has two singles titles for women’s division with Women’s title and TBS Women’s title.
