RAW Women’s Title Match Set for WWE Money in the Bank 2022
RAW Women’s title match is set for WWE Money in the Bank 2022 event.
Judgement Day’s Rhea Ripley will challenge Bianca Belair for the RAW Women’s Championship at the show.
This week on RAW, WWE announced a fatal 4-way #1 contenders match for Bianca Belair. Alexa Bliss, Rhea Ripley, Doudrop and Liv Morgan faced off in the main event of the show. Rhea Ripley dominated the early part of the match but the fatal 4-way chaos took over the match. In the end, Doudrop dropped Liv with a Michinoku Driver while Nikki ASH engaged Bliss on the floor. Rhea hit Riptide on Doudrop to get the pin.
Rhea stood tall in the ring with his Judgement Day buddies Finn Balor and Damian Priest as she stared down on Bianca Belair on the floor.
Bianca won the RAW Women’s title from Becky Lynch at WrestleMania 38. Since then she has defended the title against Sonya Deville in a No DQ match and later against Becky Lynch and Asuka at Hell in a Cell event.
Rhea Ripley turned heel in April and later joined Judgement Day stable with Edge. The stable defeated Finn Balor, Liv Morgan, and AJ Styles in a mixed trio match at Hell in a Cell. Judgement Day turned on Edge last night on RAW as Balor joined in as the leader.
Rhea Ripley currently holds a 2-1 lead over Bianca in televised singles matches. Rhea defeated Bianca on the October 23, 2019 episode of NXT. Rhea also retained the NXT Women’s Championship against Bianca at NXT TakeOver Portland. Bianca eliminated Rhea from the Gauntlet match on the RAW episode of February 14 this year.
Will WWE put the title on Rhea to boost Judgement Day’s credentials? Keep tuned in for all the updates.
