AEW Dynamite episode of January 11, 2023, will feature the seventh and final match of the Elite and Death Triangle’s Best of 7 Series.
Jon Moxley and Hangman Adam Page will finally square off in a singles match. Bryan Danielson will compete against Konosuke Takeshita. Saraya & Toni Storm vs Dr Britt Baker DMD & Jamie Hayter, and Hook & Jack Perry vs Big Bill & Lee Moriarty tag matches have also been announced. The Elite vs Death Triangle
The fate of the AEW World Trios title will be decided in the seventh and final match of the Best of 7 Series between the Elite and Death Triangle. Heading into the final match, which is Esclara De La Muerte Ladder match, both teams are at 3-3. If the Elite wins this final match, then they will become the 2-time AEW World trios champion. Will Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks be able to pull this off?
Bryan Danielson vs Konosuke Takeshita
MJF wants Danielson to earn the no. 1 contender status before giving him a title shot at AEW Revolution. And in order to do so, Danielson has to compete and win on every Dynamite episode till February 8. As a result, Bryan Danielson will be in action to take on the Japanese sensation Konosuke Takeshita. Will Bryan Danielson be able to fulfil MJF’s condition? Will MJF try to interfere in the match?
Hangman Page vs Jon Moxley
“Hangman” Adam Page and Jon Moxley have been feuding for a few weeks since Page got back from recovering from a concussion to attack Moxley. Page was sidelined due to a concussion which he suffered in October when he faced Jon Moxley. After weeks of brawling and verbal shots, Page is finally medically cleared to compete and will face Moxley this week. Will he be able to defeat Moxley for the first time?
Jamie Hayter & Britt Baker vs Saraya & Toni Storm
A few weeks back, it was revealed that Saraya would face Britt Baker & Jamie Hayter in a tag-team match with a mystery partner on January 11. Initially, this partner was speculated to be Mercedes Mone, but last week, it was revealed that Toni Storm would be the one to compete in this match. Will Saraya be able to get a win in her Dynamite debut? Additionally, Hikaru Shida was not particularly happy when Saraya chose Storm over her for this match. Is there a twist remaining in the story?
Hook & Jack Perry vs Big Bill & Lee Moriarty
In the aftermath of Full Gear, Hook and Jungle Boy have been separately attacked by The Firm members, mainly Big Bill and Lee Moriarty. Jungle Boy actually came out to support Hook when The Firm targeted him. Now, these two will join forces for the very first time to face Big Bill & Lee Moriarty in a tag team match.
This sounds like one of the best AEW Dynamite match cards I’ve seen in months! Will def by tuning in tonight! And quite frankly, I generally enjoy AEW more than WWE these days because there’s more wrestling, more high flying athletes, more diversity of competitors vis-a-vis relationships with other wrestling brands such as ROH and NJPW and more frequent turnover in championship titles!
