AEW is set to present the 200th episode of Dynamite on August 2, 2022, and it will feature Toni Storm defending AEW Women’s World Championship against Hikaru Shida whereas the Aussie Open will ROH Tag Team Titles against Komande & El Hijo Del Vikingo.

Chris Jericho will team up with Konosuke Takeshita to face Sammy Guevara & Daniel Garcia. Jerry Lynn vs Jack Perry and The Elite vs Jay Lethal, Satnam Singh & Jeff Jarrett are also announced. Moreover, Jon Moxley will fight Trent Baretta and Penta El Zero in a three-way anything-goes match. Read below to check the complete preview and match card of the 200th episode of AEW Dynamite. 

Toni Storm vs Hikaru Shida

Hikaru Shida defeated Nyla Rose in the main event of July 28th edition of Rampage, after which the Outcasts’ Saraya, Ruby Soho, and Toni Storm confronted her. Later, the broadcast team announced that Toni Storm would put her AEW Women’s World Championship on the line against Hikaru Shida on the 200th episode of Dynamite. Shida was the third AEW Women’s Champion and remain the longest reigning women’s champion also. Will she become the champion once again? 

Aussie Open vs Komander & El Hijo del Vikingo

This Friday, Komander scored his first win against Kip Sabian whereas El Hijo del Vikingo is coming off a win against Kenny Omega at the AAA event. During the July 28 episode of Rampage, the broadcast team also confirmed that this rising duo would face Jjyle Fletcher & Mark Davis of the Aussie Open for the ROH Tag Team titles. 

Jerry Lynn & Jack Perry Face-to-Face

During the July 26 episode of Dynamite, Jack Perry was trash-talking about Taz, ECW & FTW Title, when he was confronted by Jerry Lynn. The latter wanted a match then and there, but Perry retreated. Lynn and Perry are now announced to come face-to-face on August 2 edition of the Dynamite.

Chris Jericho & Konosuke Takeshita vs Sammy Guevara & Daniel Garcia

Don Callis’ quest to recruit Chris Jericho to his family advances as he convinced the latter to team up with Konosuke Takeshita to face Sammy Guevara & Daniel Garcia of the Jericho Appreciation Society in a tag team match. Jericho was a bit reluctant about facing his stablemates, but Callis convinced him by saying this match would provide a chance for them to explore themselves better. Is this the end of Jericho Appreciation Society? 

Jon Moxley vs Trent Baretta vs Penta El Zero Meido

Last week on Dynamite, BCC, Lucha Brothers, and Best Friends had a three-way match which was won by the Lucha Brothers. However, the participants of this match continued to brawl even after the match was over. As a result, AEW announced a three-way anything-goes match featuring Jon Moxley, Penta El Zero Meido, and Trent Baretta. 

The Elite vs Jay Lethal, Jeff Jarrett & Satnam Singh

Tony Khan has made it official that Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks collectively known as The Elite will face Jay Lethal, Jeff Jarrett, and Satnam Singh in a trios match. The Elite is coming off a Blood & Guts match win against Blackpool Combat Club. Will they be able to overcome this trouble trio as well? 

MJF Speaks

AEW World Champion MJF will bless the 200th episode of Dynamite by his presence. He is set to speak where he will likely address his recent loss which came against FTR when he and Adam Cole challenged for the title. He also promised Cole a title shot after the tag team match, so can we expect to see an official announcement?
