EVENT NOTES

This is the 74th UFC Fight Night event that took place at UFC Apex Center, and hence it is called UFC Vegas 74. The main card of the event aired live on ESPN, and therefore, the event was also called UFC on ESPN 46.

A middleweight bout between #10 ranked Jack Hermansson and #13 ranked Brendan Allen was announced to headline this event. Hermansson withdrew from the bout due to an undisclosed injury. Kai Kara-France vs Amir Albazi flyweight bout was later promoted as the headliner.

Maxim Grashim vs Philipe Lins bout was earlier booked for UFC Vegas 61 event in October 2022. Both fighters weighed in successfully, but the bout was canceled due to a medical issue while the event was ongoing. The bout is now booked for this event.

Allan Nascimento vs Tim Elliott bout was reported for the event. Nascimento later pulled out of the bout at the end of April 2023 due to an undisclosed injury. Victor Altamirano replaced him to face Elliot.

Daniel Santos vs. Johnny Muñoz Jr. bout was originally scheduled for UFC 288, but the bout was rescheduled to this event due to Santos’ injury.
