Jinh Yu Frey vs Elise Reed Set for June 3 UFC Event
A new women’s strawweight bout is set for the June 3 UFC event.
According to the latest reports, Jinh Yu Frey will square off against Elise Reed at the UFC Fight Night event on June 3, 2023.
Marcel Dorff of Eurosports was the first one to break this news which was confirmed by multiple other sources as well.
Jinh Yu Frey is maintaining a two-fight losing streak and is coming off a first-round KO loss against Polyana Viana. Before that, she lost against Vanessa Demopoulous. Her last win came against Ashley Yoder in July 2021.
On the other hand, Elise Reed is 2-3 in UFC so far. She is coming off a second-round submission loss against Loma Lookboonmee at UFC 284. Before that, she defeated Melissa Martinez via unanimous decision at UFC 279.
Now, it remains to be seen which one of these fighters will return to the winning path when they collide later this year. UFC is yet to announce the venue and location for the Fight Night event on June 3.
