Terrance McKinney is set to replace Lando Vannata against Mike Breeden at UFC Vegas 78 event.

According to the report from MMA Junkie, McKinney and Breeden are set to clash in a lightweight bout at the UFC’s August 12 event in Vegas. We earlier reported how Lando Vannata withdrew from the fight against Breeden due to an injury. Although the injury has not been disclosed.

Terrance McKinney is currently on a two-fight losing streak. McKinney’s recent bout was against Nazim Sadykhov at the UFC Fight Night event on July 15, 2023, where he lost by submission in second round. Before that, McKinney suffered a defeat against Ismael Bonfim at UFC 283 via knockout.

Breeden had also experienced back-to-back losses in his UFC career so far. He has lost to Natan Levy in his UFC debut in October 2021 before losing to Alexander Hernandez in April 2022.

UFC Vegas 78 is scheduled for August 12, 2023, in Las Vegas, NV, featuring a welterweight bout between Vicente Luque and Rafael dos Anjos in the headliner.
