Tatsuro Taira vs Jesus Aguilar Announced for UFC Vegas 68
Japan’s 22 years old prospect Tatsuro Taira will take on UFC debutant Jesus Aguilar at UFC Vegas 68.
UFC officially announced the flyweight bout via its official account from Japan. Doo Ho Choi vs Kyle Nelson and Jun Yong Park vs Denis Tiuliulin bouts were also made official.
Tatsuro Taira, one of the rising prospects from UFC in 2022, got two wins in his two appearances. First, he defeated Carlos Candelario via unanimous decision in his UFC debut. Later, he defeated CJ Vergara via submission in the second round.
Jesus Aguilar got a UFC contract after beating Erisson Ferreira in Dana White Contender Series 2022. This will be his official UFC debut. He has previously appeared in several local promotions including Combate.
UFC Vegas 68 is scheduled for February 4, 2023, at Apex Center in Las Vegas, NV. Derrick Lewis vs Sergey Spivac bout is going to headline the event.
The event was previously slated to take place in Seoul, South Korea when Tatsuro Taira was first booked for the event closer to his home country.
