A middleweight bout between Makhmud Muradov and Abusupiyan Magomedov is booked again for the UFC Vegas 71 event on March 11, 2023.
Abusupiyan Magomedov was originally set to make his UFC debut against Muradov at UFC Fight Night 210 last year in September. However, Muradov withdrew from this bout and Magomedov ended up facing Dustin Stoltzfus.
But now UFC has rescheduled this bout, and it is confirmed by none other than Muradov on his Instagram handle. You can check his Instagram post below.
Makhmud Muradov impressed everyone by winning his first three UFC bouts. After winning his inaugural bout, he managed to get two third-round finishes against Trevor Smith and Andrew Sanchez. However, then he lost back-to-back two matches against Gerald Meerschaert and Caio Borralho.
On the other hand, Abusupiyan Magomedov made his UFC debut last year in September and defeated Dustin Stoltzfus via the first-round TKO. His kicks were on point and his punches provided the perfect finishing touch.
Now, it remains to be seen whether Makhmud Muradov gets back on the winning path or Abusupiyan Magomedov starts a winning streak on March 11, 2023.
