José Johnson vs Garrett Armfield 135 lbs Bout Set for UFC Vegas 70
A clash of two newcomers is reported for UFC Vegas 70/Fight Night 220 event.
Iridium Sports Agency that Jose’ Johnson will make his UFC debut against Garrett Armfield at UFC Vegas 70 event in a bantamweight bout. Both fighters are represented by Iridium Sports Agency.
Jose’ Johnson was signed by UFC after defeating Jack Cartwright in Dana White Contender Series 2022 season. Johnson also appeared in DWCS 2020 season where he lost to Ronnie Lawrence.
Apart from this, Johnson also has two appearances in LFA with 1 win and 1 loss. His overall record stands at 15-7.
For Garrett Armfield, this will be second UFC bout. He made his UFC debut in a submission loss to David Onama in July last year after taking a short-notice fight. Prior to that, Armfield has appeared in LFA once and 4 times in Shamrock FC.
UFC Vegas 70 or UFC Fight Night 220 is set for February 25, 2023, at UFC Apex Arena in Las Vegas, NV. Nikita Krylov vs Ryan Spann bout will headline the event.
