Gabriel Bonfim vs Mounir Lazzez Set for UFC 283 in Jan 2023

According to the latest reports, Gabriel Bonfim is all set to make his UFC debut against Mounir Lazzez at UFC 283 PPV event in January 2023. 

Bonfim’s management, Iridium Sports Agency confirmed this news on Twitter. The tweet announced that Bonfim and Lazzez would collide on January 21 at the Jeunesse Arena in Rio De Janerio.

Mounir Lazzez is 2-1 in his three UFC matches. He won his UFC debut against Abdul Razak Alhasan via unanimous. However, Warlley Alves defeated him via knockout in his second match. Lazzez rebounded from this loss and defeated Ange Loosa in his most recent bout. 

On the other hand, Gabriel Bonfim will be making his UFC debut. Bonfim has been undefeated in MMA so far. He defeated Trey Waters via submission in his most recent match at the Dana White’s Contender Series. 

Now, it remains to be seen whether Gabriel Bonfim will continue his undefeated streak in the UFC as well or if Lazzez hand him a loss in his inaugural match at UFC 283 on January 21.
