Carlston Harris has revealed that he has signed up for a new bout for UFC Vegas 69.

Harris posted on his Instagram account that he has signed the contract for my next fight. Later, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport reported that he will face Ramiz Brahimaj at UFC Vegas 69 in a welterweight bout.

If this news turns out to be true, Guyanese fighter Carlston Harris will be returning to the octagon after more than a year for his fourth UFC bout. The last time he was seen was on UFC Vegas 47 on the February 5, 2022, where he suffered his first UFC loss at the hands of Shavkat Rakhmonov.

Harris made his UFC debut in May 2021 with a submission win over Christian Aguilera which earned him a Performance of the Night bonus. He later defeated Impa Kasanganay in September 2021. Overall 17-5 in MMA, Harris currently stands at a 2-1 record in UFC. He has previously fought for Brace CF and UAE Warriors.

Ramiz Brahimaj will also return almost a year after his last UFC bout on February 26, 2022. He defeated Micheal Gillmore to take his UFC record to 2-2. Brahimaj was supposed to face Micheal Morales at UFC 277, but he pulled out due to an injury.

Brahimaj suffered a defeat to Max Griffin in his UFC debut in November 2020 before beating Sasha Palatnikov in August 2021. He later faced another defeat when he faced Court McGee in January 2022 before his win over Gillmore.

UFC Vegas 69 will take place on February 18, 2023 and will see Cory Sandhagen clashing with Marlon Vera in a bantamweight headliner.
