Amanda Ribas and Maycee Barber will likely clash at UFC Fight Night event in Jacksonville, FL, in a flyweight bout.
Although not confirmed by the promotion yet, UFC will hold a Fight Night event at Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, FL, on June 24, 2023. Globo.com’s Gleidson Venga is now reporting that UFC is working to finalize a bout Ribas and Barber for the said event.
For both women, this will be the second bout in 2023. They were both in action in March where they won their respective bouts. Ribas holds #9 position in the rankings currently while Barber is at #10 now.
Barber’s #10 rank comes after her 4-fights winning streak. She defeated Andrea Lee via split decision at UFC San Antonio Fight Night on March 25 in her most recent fight. Prior to that, she defeated Montana De La Rosa and Jessica Eye in 2022 after beating Miranda Maverick in July 2021.

Her bout against Tracy Cortez was scrapped in December last year after Cortez pulled out due to some medical issues. Ribas then defeated Viviane Araújo at UFC 285 via unanimous decision.
The bout between Ribas and Barber is just the second bout reported for UFC Jacksonville event after another flyweight encounter between Tatsuro Taira and Kleydson Rodrigues. Keep tuned in for more news and updates from UFC.
