Greg Hardy to Replace Vitor Belfort Against Rahman Jr on Nov 19

Hasim Rahman Jr vs Greg Hardy

It has been officially announced that Greg Hardy would replace Vitor Belfort in a boxing match against Hasim Rahman Jr on November 19 at the Misfits Boxing event.

Earlier today, it was reported that Vitor Belfor would not be a part of his scheduled bout against Rahman Jr which is set to take place in a few days. However, the reason behind the withdrawal of Belfort is still not known.

After that, Boxing Scene came up with a report that he could be replaced by either Greg Hardy or Shannon Briggs. A few hours later, Misfits Boxing itself confirmed that Greg Hardy would serve as the replacement of Belfort this Saturday.

Greg Hardy is a former UFC heavyweight fighter who had his last UFC match earlier this year in March. He lost his last three matches before the organization decided not to re-sign him for the promotion.

In October, Hardy made his professional boxing debut when he defeated Mike Hook via the second-round TKO. The fight took place under the banner of Black Sheep boxing.

On the other hand, Hasim Rahman Jr was supposed to fight Jake Paul at the MSG earlier this year, but the fight was canceled after Rahman failed to make weight. Later, he was scheduled to face Vitor Belfort in October, but that bout was scrapped as well.
