Jake Paul vs Hasim Rahman Jr Set to Main Event Aug 6 MSG PPV
It has been officially announced that Hasim Rahman Jr. would be the one to replace Tommy Fury in the main event of the Showtime PPV on August 6 at the Madison Square Garden.
On Wednesday, Paul shared a tweet in which he revealed that Fury has received a termination notice and he would announce a new opponent for the Aug 6 PPV event.
Earlier today, Paul posted another tweet in which he confirmed that he would face Hasim Rahman Jr. instead of Tommy Fury at the iconic Madison Square Garden.
In the tweet, Paul described Rahman Jr as someone who is bigger, more experienced, stronger, and has KO power. The tweet also revealed that the press conference and ticket sale would take place on Tuesday at 1 PM ET.
Tommy Fury’s second withdrawal against Jake Paul came after he was denied entry into the US last week due to his family being allegedly related to the crime boss Daniel Kinahan.
Fury tried to save the bout by saying that he is ready to fight Jake Paul in a neutral country but in the end, he received a termination notice from the team of Jake Paul.
