WWE RAW April 17: Lashley vs Theory, Trish Stratus Explains to Becky
WWE has announced a singles match and another segment for WWE RAW episode of April 17, 2023.
As per the new announcement, Bobby Lashley and WWE United States Champion Austin Theory will clash in a non-title singles match. The stakes for this match are announced, but we can expect Lashley to get a US title shot automatically if he manages to beat Theory.
We can also expect the fallout for Lashley vs Bronson Reed match from last week’s RAW which ended in a double count-out when both men were brawling on the floor. It is yet to be determined if Bronson Reed also factors in the US title scene somehow.
The segment announced is for Trish Stratus to explain her heel turn last week on Becky Lynch. Trish replaced Lita in WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship match on RAW to partner Becky. Trish was pinned by Liv Morgan, leading to Liv and Raquel Rodriguez winning the titles.
After the match, Becky was consoling Trish when she suddenly attacked Becky with chick kick. Now, WWE Hall of Famer Trish is set to explain why she attacked Becky.
Brock Lesnar’s appearance to answer to Cody Rhodes’ Backlash challenge was already announced for April 17, 2023 edition of WWE RAW. The show is set to air from North Little Rock, AR. The line-up is as below:
