AEW Dynamite April 19: Hobbs vs Wardlow Rematch, Outcasts Set
AEW has revealed two matches for AEW Dynamite episode of April 19, 2023, with a rematch between Powerhouse Hobbs and Wardlow over AEW TNT Championship.
Powerhouse Hobbs defended TNT title against Silas Young on this week’s AEW Dynamite. Wardlow made his return to AEW Dynamite this week and destroyed his car. The car was gifted to Hobbs by QT Marshall last week on Rampage. Wardlow went on to total the car using forlift.
Wardlow then met Hobbs on the stage and stopped him from powerbombing Young through the table. Their brawl was cut short quickly by the crew members. However, Wardlow got hold of Aaron Solow from QT Marshall’s stable and put him through the table with a powerbomb. The AEW commentary team announced the rematch between Wardlow and Hobbs for next during the final match of Dynamite.
Powerhouse Hobbs became the #1 contender for AEW TNT Championship in March by winning the Face of the Revolution ladder match. He went on to defeat Wardlow in a Falls Count Anywhere match after QT Marshall helped him to put Wardlow through the stage. Wardlow was away from AEW TV since that episode of Dynamite.
A women’s tag team match was also announced for next week’s Dynamite episode. The Outcasts’ Ruby Soho and Toni Storm will face AEW Women’s World Champion Jamie Hayter and Dr. Britt Baker DMD. The two sides are feuding since September last year when The Outcasts’ Saraya arrived to AEW.
April 19, 2023 episode of Dynamite will take place at Peterson Events Center in Pittsburgh, PA, which happens to be the hometown of Brit Baker. Keep tuned in for more news and updates on the show.
