Sting, Darby, Lethal & Jarrett Added to AEW Rampage December 30
AEW has added two more segments to the December 30th New Year’s Smash episode of AEW Rampage.
The show, which was pre-taped with Dynamite this week(spoilers here), featured four singles matches including Orange Cassidy taking on Trent Baretta to defend All Atlantic Championship.
AEW has now announced that Tony Schiavone will talk about Sting & Darby Allin. Darby attacked Samoa Joe this week on Dynamite with his skateboard. He is also set to challenge Joe for TNT title on next week’s Dynamite. The segment will likely be about this match itself.
Additionally, we will also hear from Jeff Jarrett, Jay Lethal, Sonjay Dutt and Satnam Singh. They will likely respond to the latest rap from AEW World Tag Team Champions The Acclaimed where the champs threw insults towards the group.
AEW Women’s Champion Jamie Hayter’s backstage promo was already announced which was not revealed during the tapings. The show also featured Jon Moxley cutting an in-ring promo against Adam Page.
Swerve Strickland vs Wheeler Yuta will headline the show apart from Jade Cargill’s TBS Women’s title defense against Keira Hogan.
