Spoiler for IC Title Match & More for SmackDown’s Christmas Episode
Spoilers for Intercontinental Championship match between Sami Zayn and Big E, Universal Championship Steel Cage Match, Women’s Tag Team Championship match and more for Christmas edition of SmackDown on 25 December 2020.
WWE taped their Christmas Day 2020 episode of Friday Night SmackDown on Tuesday night. The main event of the show is slated to WWE Intercontinental title match between Sami Zayn and Big E.
The match was announced as a Lumberjack Match which aided Big E as Zayn was carried back to the ring every time he tried to run off. Big E hit Zayn with his Big Ending finisher and won the IC Title.
This is Big E’s second reign as the Intercontinental Champion. First time Big E won the title was back in 2013 which lasted for around 5 months. At that time, he lost the title to Bad News Barrett at Extreme Rules 2014 and was soon drafted into New Day.
The match between Sami Zayn and Big E was earlier planned for WWE TLC 2020. However, as per recent reports, the title match was shifted to the Christmas edition of SmackDown as WWE wanted to end the show with a positive vibe and a feel-good moment of a babyface triumphing over a heel.

The spoilers for the rest of the show are as below:
Roman Reigns(c) defeated Kevin Owens in a steel cage match for the Universal Championship. Jey Usos handcuffed Owens to the cage and Roman Reigns escaped.
The WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Asuka and Charlotte Flair come out. Bayley comes out to challenge them. WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Sasha Banks’ entrance was botched as her title belt off at the ramp. Carmella came out and joined Bayley while Bianca Beliar joined Sasha Banks for a three way elimination match.
Asuka & Charlotte Flair(c) defeated Bianca Belair & Sasha Banks and Bayley & Carmella to retain WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles in a three-way elimination match. Banks pinned Bayley to eliminate her. Flair pinned Belair with Natural Selection for the win.
The Street Profits got Sami Zayn a gift for Christmas. It was “I Am The IC Champion” shirt, with “Was” written over “Is”.
Daniel Bryan defeated Jey Uso.
Big E defeated Sami Zayn(c) in a Lumbarjack match to win the Intercontinental Championship in the main event of the show.
