Roman Reigns Tops PWI Top 500 Wrestlers List of 2022

Pro Wrestling Illustrated acknowledged the Tribal Chief Roman Reigns and placed him at the top of its Top 500 list of wrestlers. 

PWI itself announced this news on Busted Open Radio. The name of the top 10 wrestlers on this list was also posted on Twitter in order to promote the list. 

The top 10 wrestlers of the 2022 edition of the PWI Top 500 wrestlers are: 

1. Roman Reigns
2. Kazuchika Okada
3. CM Punk 
4. Hangman Adam Page
5. Bobby Lashley
6. Cody Rhodes
7. Bryan Danielson
8. Hijo del Vikingo
9. Big E
10. Jonathan Gresham

Last year, Roman Reigns was placed at #2 on this list. He was only behind the belt collector Kenny Omega. The latter wasn’t able to make it in the top 10 this year as he was out of action most of the year due to injury. 

Only Kazuchika Okada and Hijo del Vikingo are foreign superstars in the top 10 of this list. Just like last year, Bobby Lashley is able to make a place for himself in the top 10 this year as well. 

Interestingly, CM Punk who made his pro wrestling almost one year ago was placed at #3 on this list by PWI. Rhodes who returned to WWE is placed at #6 whereas one of the best technical wrestlers in the world Bryan Danielson is placed at #7.
