Roman Reigns WWE Night of Champions 2023

Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns is reportedly set to challenge for Tag Team Championship at WWE Night of Champions 2023 event later this month.

Roman Reigns was earlier reported to be in action at Night of Champions event. But, it was expected that he would defend Undisputed Universal Championship on the day when his title reign completes 1000 days. However, that is not the case it seems.

Roman is set to appear on SmackDown later tonight for the first time since March. Two sources in WRKD Wrestling and Xero News are reporting that Roman would continue to lose trust in The Usos and will decide to take matters into his own hands.

This would lead to Roman teaming up with Solo Sikoa at Night of Champions 2023 event to challenge Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn for their Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship.

Owens and Sami have been a “problem” for the Bloodline for a while now. Owens led the charge against them in the final few months of last year before Sami Zayn turned on The Bloodlone at Royal Rumble and made destroying The Bloodline his sole mission. The Usos lost the tag team titles at WrestleMania 39 Night 1 to Owens and Sami.

Roman was miffed with his cousins but pulled strings to get them a rematch. But they once again failed to win the title on SmackDown April 28 episode. Solo Sikoa led The Bloodline to beat Owens, Sami and Matt Riddle at Backlash 2023 event last weekend, but Solo and Jey Uso almost came to blows during the final moments of the match.

Will Roman brings the tag team titles back into the Bloodline at Night of Champions 2023? The event takes place on May 27 at Jeddah Superdome in Saudi Arabia.
