WWE has announced that Rhea Ripley will defend the RAW Women’s Championship against Charlotte Flair at Hell in a Cell 2021 PPV.
Rhea Ripley earlier defended the title against Charlotte Flair and Asuka at WrestleMania Backlash 2021 PPV last week. Ripley pinned Asuka to retain the title that night.
Last week, Asuka defeated Charlotte in a singles match. They faced off once again this week on RAW, and Flair was able to get the win after she turned around Asuka lock into a pin attempt. WWE later announced that Flair will now challenge Rhea at Hell in a Cell 2021 PPV.
Rhea debut on WWE RAW 22 March episode of RAW and challenged Asuka for the RAW Women’s Title right away. Rhea went on to win the titles at WrestleMania 37. Flair missed WrestleMania 37 after suffering from COVID-19 and started a storyline trashing Rhea and Asuka afterward.
