Rey Mysterio to Corner Dragon Lee vs Dominik on WWE NXT Aug 8
Rey Mysterio is coming to WWE NXT on August 8, 2023 episode to be in Dragon Lee’s corner.
Dragon Lee is set to challenge Dominik Mysterio on next week’s NXT episode. Rhea Ripley will be in Dominik’s corner as always, and Rey will coming to neutralize “Mami” and to curtail her undue influence in the match.
After winning the title from Wes Lee two weeks back, Dominik successfully defended it against Wes Lee and Mustafa Ali at Great American Bash 2023 event. Buoyant by this win, Rhea and Dominik were bragging on this week’s NXT episode(August 1), that Dominik has restored the Mysterio family name.

This drew out Dragon Lee who argued that Rey Mysterio remains the greatest luchador in the world. As the argument continued, Lee challenged Dominik to defend his North American Championship. Dominik claimed that he is a fighting champion and accepted the challenge.
But, Dragon Lee also had the surprise of Rey Mysterio waiting for him. Rey appeared on the big screen and announced that he would be in the corner who respects him and is set to be the future on Lucha Libre in Dragon Lee.
Next week’s NXT episode will also feature Bron Breakker vs Von Wagner, Axiom vs Mustafa Ali, and Noam Dar vs Tyler Bate matches.
