Drew McIntyre was not booked for RAW last week, but will return this week.
Drew McIntyre emerged victorious and retained his title from the Elimination Chamber match at the PPV last Sunday. This was followed by a brutal attack from Bobby Lashley who left the Scottish Psychopath in a dire state.
The Miz then cashed in the Money in the Bank briefcase on McIntyre to win the WWE Championship. McIntyre was nowhere to be seen on the following RAW as more drama unfolded.
But, WWE is now advertising him that McIntyre will comment on dropping the title to the Miz and Bobby Lashley’s attack for this Monday’s episode.
McIntyre was reportedly present backstage on the last RAW episode. But WWE decided to not use him on the show and let the Lashley vs Miz storyline unfold. It was believed that McIntyre not going after Lashley would not make sense, and if does, it will hamper Lashley’s angle.
The Miz will also defend the WWE Championship against Lashley on RAW. This came as per previous agreement between Hurt Business and the Miz. Lashley also defeated Braun Strowman in a singles match in the main event of RAW.
