Kevin Owens Suffered Knee Injury at WWE Live Event

Former Universal Champion Kevin Owens suffered an injury at a WWE house show in Madison, Wisconsin.

According to the latest report by Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Kevin Owens suffered an MCL sprain in a match against Austin Theory this Sunday at a WWE live event. 

It was a match before the penultimate match of the night where Ownes blow out his knee after he planted it during the match. 

Owens still continued the match and went on to pick up the win by hitting a stunner to Austin Theory. However, after the match, he required the referee’s help to get to the backside of the stage. 

Kevin Owens hasn’t appeared on WWE Raw for the past few weeks as he wasn’t a part of WWE Crown Jewel. He is rumored to join the Brawling Brutes and Drew McIntyre for a WarGames match against The Bloodline at Survivor Series WarGames.
