Injury Updates on Wes Lee, Asuka & Kacy Catanzaro

Dave Meltzer, on the latest Wrestling Observer Radio, has provided the injury updates on several of WWE stars.

Wes Lee, of MSK, is confirmed to have suffered a hand injury. He broke his hand at NXT TakeOver: Vengeance Day. Since then MSK has appeared in a non-wrestling role only.

The backstage angle, where NXT Tag Team Champions Oney Lorcan & Danny Burch attacked MSK last week, was taped to cover for the injury. MSK are likely to wait for their title shot for some time.

RAW Women’s Champion Asuka was confirmed on RAW to have lost a tooth from a kick from Shayna Baszler on last week’s RAW. She missed this week’s RAW.

Dave Meltzer added that he is “relatively certain” that Asuka suffered a concussion as well. Meltzer said he thinks so due to the way that the company is being quiet about that injury.

We earlier reported how NXT’s Kacy Catanzaro suffered a broken leg. However, Meltzer suggests that her injury is not severe.
