CM Punk vs Samoa Joe World Title Bout Set for AEW All In 2023
CM Punk will defend his AEW Real World Championship against Samoa Joe at AEW All In 2023 PPV event.
During the August 19 episode of AEW Collison, Samoa Joe was set to fight The Golden Vampire. Prior to the beginning of the match, the Golden Vampire assaulted Joe. However, a surprising turn of events occurred when Golden Vampire executed a GTS and unveiled himself to be none other than CM Punk.

Afterward, Punk accepted Joe’s challenge, and later on, the bout was officially announced by AEW. During the August 5 episode of AEW Collision, Samoa Joe challenged CM Punk to a one-on-one match at AEW All In 2023 PPV event.
When Punk did not respond to the challenge, Joe choked him out last week on Collision during CMFTR’s AEW Trios Championship match against House of Black, leading to CMFTR losing the match.
Joe has a track record of securing four victories and facing just one loss against CM Punk along with two drawn matches. The one loss came on July 8 episode of AEW Collision in the semi-final match for the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament.
Punk is carrying his old AEW World title belt, claiming to be the real World Champion since he never lost the belt. He recently defended his Real World Championship successfully against Ricky Starks on August 5 Collision episode.
AEW All in PPV event is scheduled for August 27, 2023, at Wembley Stadium in London, England. AEW Word Championship match is also set between MJF and Adam Cole.
