Welcome to the live results blog for AEW Rampage episode of December 16, 2022, which will feature Jon Moxley vs Sammy Guevara match.

The pre-taped show(spoilers here) will also see Orange Cassidy, Best Friends, and Dustin Rhodes taking on Kip Sabian, Trent Seven, The Butcher & The Blade in an 8-man tag team match. Skye Blue has challenged Dr. Britt Baker DMD.

LIVE UPDATES

Jon Moxley vs Sammy Guevara

Sammy starts with a dropkick. Moxley fires back with some shots before he clotheslines Sammy to the floor. Sammy hits a knee strike on the floor. Moxley sends him into the barricade before he drops his groin on the barricade. Moxley gets cut off as he was jumping from a chair. Back to the ring, Moxley hits a cutter on Sammy. Moxley hits a superplex next to get a two-count.

Sammy fights back with quick shots. He hits a dropkick to send Moxley to the floor. Sammy goes to the top. Moxley joins him. Sammy rakes his back. Moxley bites him. Sammy hits punches to drop Moxley to the apron. Sammy stomps on him from the top rope to take us to a break.

Sammy has ripped up Mox’s earring and Mox is bleeding through his ear. Sammy kicks at his knee before booting him into the corner. Sammy continues to be in control. Tay also takes shots at Moxley and even picks his bloodied ear while the referee was distracted. Sammy goes to kiss Tay on the floor. Moxley hits Sammy with a suicide dive.

Back to the ring, Moxley hits a corner clothesline before unloading with punches from the second rope. Moxley hits a German suplex but Sammy lands on his feet. He hits an gamengiri and a cutter from the top rope. Moxley kicks out easily though. Sammy goes for GTH but Moxley lands on his feet. Sammy blocks a powerbomb and puts on Walls of Jericho.

Moxley turns around and hits an upkick to break free. They trade forearms in the middle. Moxley drops Sammy with a big forearm before hitting a stomp to his face but Sammy kicks out. Moxley sets up a table on the floor as Sammy rolls out.. Sammy hits him with a knee strike and a thrust kick. Sammy goes to the top and hits a senton to take Moxley through the table.

Sammy takes Moxley back to the ring. He goes for a crossbody but Moxley rolls through. He hits kicks to the face before hitting a Gotch Piledriver. Moxley puts on Bulldog Choke but Sammy manages to roll over for a pin attempt. Sammy blocks Paradigm Shift before kicking his leg. Sammy hits Death Rider and quickly follows up with a senton atomico. Moxley kicks out of the pin.

Sammy takes Moxley to the top. Moxley pushes him back to the mat but Sammy quickly gets back to the top and hits a Spanish Fly. Moxley quickly counters and puts on Bulldog Choke. Sammy starts to fade and the referee calls the match.

Winner – Jon Moxley

Moxley takes the mic after the match and calls out Adam Page. Page’s music hits and he comes out. Moxley meets him on the ramp to start a brawl. Security comes out quickly to stop them. Page was going for a buckshot lariat on Moxley but ends up catching a security guy with it.


FTR are in the ring. They cut a passionate promo on how great their year has been due to all the motivation and support from the fans.

Britt Baker vs Skye Blue

Blue counters an arm wrench with a handspring. Baker counters with headscissors and a double underhook. She hits a suplex but Blue kicks out at one. Blue hits an armdrag and more quick moves to take us to a break.

Blue hits a superkick as we return from the break to get a two-count. Baker pushes her away and hits a slingblade. She hits a double underhook swinging neckbreaker to get another two-count. Baker gets her glove for lockjaw. Blue hits her with a knee strike. She follows up with an enzuigiri. Britt counters Code Blue with big shot. Britt hits the curbstomp to get the pinfall.

Winner – Britt Baker

Baker puts on the lockjaw on Blue after the match. Hikaru Shida runs out with a kendo stick now. She hits Rebel with kendo stick on the ramp. She enters the ring to drop Baker with the stick. Jamie Hayter has a face-off with her and shows off her title.


Preston Vance is interviewed by Jim Ross about turning his back on Dark Order. Vance says he does not have a 10-year-old boss anymore. He says Mr. Brodie Lee picking him up by seeing his potential just like he picked up other Dark Order members. But, Dark Order are not his brothers. His brothers are members of LFI who understand his potential. Vance says -1 has gone through terrible things, but he has become a snot and rude person in the last three years.

Wardlow vs Exodus Prime

Prime ducks a swing and hits uppercuts. Prime plays to the crowd. He turns around to a headbutt from Wardlow who follows up with his signature lariat. Wardlow starts powerbomb symphony and gets the pin easily.

Winner – Wardlow

After the match, Wardlow takes the mic to call out Samoa Joe. Joe appears on the big screen and asks him who is Wardlow to dictate the TV king. Joe says he will defend the titles against Wardlow on December 28 Dynamite.

Dustin Rhodes, Orange Cassidy, Trent Baretta & Chuck Taylor vs The Butcher, the Blade, Trent Seven & Kip Sabian

Kip Sabian was starting against Trent Baretta but Baretta asks Seven to get in. Thus starts the battle of Trents. They trade quick shots before they end up colliding in the middle. Everyone start to get involved and go to the floor. Cassidy and Sabian left in the ring.

Cassidy hits a dropkick to send Sabian to the floor. Sabian take cover behind Penelope Ford and The Bunny to avoid a suicide dive. Butcher drops Cassidy from a shot from behind. Baretta comes in but The Butcher and the Blade double team against him. We cut to a break.

Dustin gets the hot tag as we return from the break. He hits a series of powerslams on every opponent. He hits his signature jabs on Seven and drops him with an elbow. Blade breaks the pin. The Butcher and The Blade drop Orange Cassidy with double-team neckbreaker. Baretta hits a missile dropkick to break the pin. Best Friends hug in the ring after sending The Butcher and The Blade to the floor.

Best Friends hit suicide dive on everyone on the floor. Sabian and OC are in the ring. The Bunny tries to get involved as Ford distracts the referee. OC acts like he was attacked by Bunny. The referee argues with the Bunny. Danhausen blocks Ford from attacking OC and also acts like he was attacked by Ford. The referee send both Ford and Bunny to backstage.

Sabian punches Danhausen into his groin. Best Friends take out The Butcher and the Blade with a dive. Dustin hits Kip Sabian with a Destroyer and sets him up in the corner. Cassidy hits Sabian with his lazy kicks to the crotch. Dustin then hits him with a low-blow as the referee was containing Cassidy. Seven comes in and Cassidy nails him with an Orange Punch. Dustin hits Seven with bulldog to get the pin.

Winner – Dustin Rhodes, Orange Cassidy, Trent Baretta & Chuck Taylor
