UFC 288: Drew Dober vs Matt Frevola LW Clash Set

A new lightweight bout has been added to the match card of the UFC 288 PPV event. 

According to the latest report, Drew Dober will clash against Matt Frevola in a lightweight bout at UFC 288 on May 6, 2023. 

Matt Frevola himself revealed this matchup by sharing a tweet. He stated that he is excited to fight on the same PPV card as the bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterling.

Drew Dober is on a three-fight winning streak. He is coming off a second-round KO victory against Bobby Green. Before that, he defeated Rafael Alves and Terrance McKinney. His last loss came against Brad Riddell in June 2021. 

On the other hand, Matt Frevola is on a two-fight winning streak. He recently defeated Ottman Azaitar via first-round KO at UFC 281. Before that, he registered another first-round TKO victory against Genaro Valdez at UFC 270. His last loss came against Terrance Mckinney, whom Dober defeated in one of his recent matches. 

Now, it will be interesting whose winning streak will be snapped when these two collide at UFC 286 on May 6.
