UFC 279 Broadcast Plans & Commentary Team Announced
UFC is set to present UFC 279 this Saturday from T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, which will be headlined by Khamzat Chimaev vs Nate Diaz.
Roving reporters, in-ring announcers, commentators, and more marque on-air talent will be present at the event to guide the viewers through the experience. Moreover, broadcast plans of UFC 279 and the list of the on-air talent have also been revealed which can be checked out below.
Broadcast Plans
UFC 279 televised prelims will begin at 8 PM ET after early prelims which are tentatively scheduled for 6 PM ET. Whereas the main card of this event will start at 10 PM ET. It will air on pay-per-view and will be available to stream via ESPN+ for US residents.
Desk Analysts
Michael Eaves, a broadcast veteran, will serve as the host. He will be joined by MMA reporter Brett Okamoto and retired UFC fighter Din Thomas as desk analysts.
In-Ring Announcer
Bruce Buffer will be present in Las Vegas to introduce the fighters before their respective battle at UFC 279 on September 10.
Roving Reporter
Megan Olivi, an experienced UFC correspondent, will return at UFC 279 to perform the duty of a roving reporter. She will conduct pre and post-fight interviews with athletes, and will also provide real-time updates at UFC 279.
Cageside Commentators
Jon Anik will continue to serve as the leading man on the mic. UFC Hall of Famer Daniel Cormier and Joe Rogan will join him to command play-by-play.
