Tom Elliott vs Muhammad Mokaev Set for UFC 294 in UAE
The first match for the UFC 294 event in Abu Dhabi, UAE, is reported now.
It has been revealed that Tom Elliott would face Muhammad Mokaev in a flyweight bout at UFC 294 on October 21, 2023, in Abu Dhabi.
Marcel Dorff of EuroSports was the first one to report this bout which was confirmed by several other sources as well.

Tom Elliott is on a two-fight winning streak and is coming off a unanimous decision win against Victor Altamirano in June 2023. Before that, he defeated Tagir Ulanbekov at UFC 272. His last loss came against Matheus Nicolau in October 2021.
On the other hand, Muhammad Mokaev is still undefeated in the UFC. He won all four of his UFC bouts. His most recent win came against Jafel Filho via third-round submission at UFC 286.
UFC 294 is scheduled for October 21, 2023 and will take place at the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The main event of this event is not announced yet, but it is expected that Islam Makhachev would defend his UFC Lightweight title in the headlining bout of this event.
